Tennis is the most popular individual sport in the world. Finally, now everyone has the opportunity to compete with
each other with similar mental and physical challenges. Since wheelchair tennis is already established, we offer a
standing competition for people with mental and physical challenges. Malmö Open is the largest parasport event in
the world only second to the Paralympics.

Schedule Thursday Feb 8: Round Robin play Friday Feb 9: Elimination rounds in both winning and consolation brackets Saturday Feb 10-11: Continuation of play in both elimination brackets

Entry Fees 300 SEK / player in singels (Euro 30.-) 175 SEK / player in doubles (Euro 17.50)

Format of play All matches will be played in best of one set with a 􀆟e breaker a􀆩6-6. Other than the ”one set” format normal tennis rules apply.

Eligibility and classes Depending on the number of entries in each class, the organizer reserve the right to combine classes or make changes in the events, schedule
and format of play to suit everyones interest. Persons with amputations, hemiplegics and hemi paralysis, congenital malformations and cerebral
palsy are able to take part in the TAP World Tour world ranking. All new players to the TAP tour must be evaluated to determine classification.

Price Ceremony Directly after the final match on Sunday. Gold-, silver– and bronze medals will be awarded in each bracket.

Clothing Participants must wear tennis clothes
